The Marystown Arena was built in 1974-75 and officially opened December 26, 1975.  The arena has a rich history of recreation, sport, entertainment and business over the past thirty years.  The arena has provided regional services to the Burin Peninsula and fostered a vibrant minor hockey and figure skating program.
